Origins

Birmans have a medium-long coat, blue eyes, and pointed coloration on face, ears, legs and tail.

Appearance 

Sweet, calm, and loving yet playful. Birmans form strong bonds with their families.

Personality

Birmans tend to be very docile, gentle cats that get along well with children, dogs, and other pets.

Docile 

Birmans communicate with soft chirps and meows. They are not as vocal as other breeds.

Vocalizations 

Require regular brushing to prevent matting and shedding. Trim nails monthly.

Grooming

Generally robust health but can be prone to certain genetic issues. Annual vet checkups recommended.
